Sometimes, “it’s” not about me. I can make “it” about me. I can drive myself nuts wondering why “it’s” about me and how I can fix “it”. I can lay awake at night, stare at the ceiling and have a burning in my chest wondering about whatever “it” is. But, if “it’s” not about me, then what have I accomplished?

Other times, “it” is completely about me. Sometimes, I don’t want to fix “it” because, as Martha Graham once said, “What people in the world think of you is really none of your business.” Most of the time, given the opportunity, I will fix “it” and grow.

Not given the opportunity? Well, then, I solemnly believe “it’s” about them.
